Engineering Note: Two physical contacts do not automatically provide standard USB power and data simultaneously. Any data function must be defined by the actual circuit, reference path and validated communication protocol.

Multi-Branch Current and Wiring Design

A multi-output cable must define both the total input capability and the permitted load on each branch.

The engineering drawing should specify:

  • Maximum continuous and peak current for each branch

Frequently Asked Questions

Can all three output branches operate at the same time?

Simultaneous operation depends on the approved internal wiring, USB input capability, conductor size and total thermal load. It should not be assumed from the product image alone.

Can the two magnetic heads charge two devices simultaneously?
